Seu Jacinto is a music group interested in developing and introducing traditional Northeastern Brazilian culture to Central Texas Since 2005 this grassroots collective has been focused on the traditional regional music forms such as Forró (pronounce Fo-ho), Coco, Ciranda, Banda de Pifanos, Maracatu, and other traditional rhythms. Sharing aspects of Brazilian culture that are generally overshadowed isa wonderful way to build community, educate the public in the richness of Brazilian music, and add another flavor to our eclectic city. This music is GREAT for dancing and enjoying! Check them out!

About DJ Macumbeatz: He brings the energy of Brazilian and Latin rhythms and mixes them into a contagious dancing explosion. In honor of the Brazilian Festa de Sao Joao, the music for the party will focus on dynamic beats from the Northeast of Brazil.
